The North Hills East Neighborhood Council (NHENC) website was developed to keep the North Hills East community and stakeholders up-to-date with our council meetings, community events, and other projects. All potential stakeholders are encouraged to get involved and participate. Every resident that lives (rents or owns property), works (or owns a business), or belongs to any community organization, is considered a stakeholder. What is our role as a Neighborhood City Council?A Neighborhood Council is an advisory committee to the Los Angeles City Council that act as a liaison between the local stakeholders and city government, making city government more responsive to local needs. Currently there are nearly 100 established Neighborhood Councils throughout the City of Los Angeles. The NHENC is always looking for stakeholders who are interested in participating in the decision making process for the community. That is why we invite everyone that is part of the North Hills East community to participate and have your voice be heard by our local politicians.
